Friends of Mercy will get together on February 23 in Moscow

«Друзья милосердия» соберутся вместе 23 февраля в Москве

On February 23, at the Moscow Diocesan House at the address: Likhov Pereulok, 6, Building 1, a meeting of “friends of mercy” will be held, to which the benefactors were invited by Bishop Panteleimon of Orekhovo-Zuevsky, head of the Orthodox service “Mercy”. The meeting will begin with the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir.

'Friends of Charity' are those who donate any amount to the needs of the wards of any project of the help service 'Charity'. Together with them, sisters of mercy, volunteers, wards of services, as well as everyone who has a desire to help others, but has not yet decided how exactly, will also take part in the traditional meeting. After the general service, a tea party will take place - and then a conversation on the topic 'Fasting and Mercy', during which Bishop Panteleimon will answer questions from the participants of the meeting.

Let us remind you that the Orthodox help service 'Mercy' provides assistance to orphans, the sick, the disabled, people in need - in a word, to all those who find themselves in difficult life circumstances. The service implements twenty-six different projects, including the St. Dimitrievsky Children's Center, St. Spiridonyevskaya almshouse for the elderly frail people, home and hospital nursing care. The assistance provided to the wards is not only medical and humanitarian: within the framework of the activities carried out by the service, lawyers, psychologists and specialists of other professions also work. Mercy Service helps 30,000 people solve problems every year.
