A resident of the city of Kachkanar, Sverdlovsk region, as a place for public works, to which he was sentenced by the court for systematic non-payment of fines from the traffic police, chose a temple in honor of the icon of the Mother of God 'Recovery of the dead'. This was reported by the press service of the UFSSP in the Sverdlovsk region. For five writs of execution received by the bailiffs against the debtor, the court determined the latter to be punished in the form of 140 hours of compulsory work. The temple, as a place for their passage, was chosen by him completely voluntarily - in the opinion of a resident of the Urals, this is how one can not only cover the debt, but also “cleanse the soul”. During the allotted time, the man cleared the church yard from snow, participated in the parish economic activities, decorated the church for the great holidays of Christmas and Epiphany. The priests who saw him at work were satisfied with the fulfillment of obedience. To date, all enforcement proceedings against the Kachkanar have been completed.
