On April 7, the Catholic Church solemnly celebrate the Feast of the Annunciation – the day when the Archangel Gabriel brought the good news to the Virgin Mary that she would conceive and give birth to the Savior of the world.

It is one of the oldest and most significant feasts in the Christian liturgical calendar, celebrated exactly nine months before Christmas, marking the beginning of the Incarnation.
