African bishop with Urban, Crescens, Eustace, Cresconius, Crescentian, Felix, Hortulanus, and Florentian.They were exiled from their sees because of their adherence to orthodox Christianity in the face of the domination of the region by the Arian Vandals. As each of the bishops subsequently died in exile, they were considered martyrs for the faith.
