Bishop and missionary, also called Huno and Unno. Originally a Benedictine monk at New Corvey. in Saxony. Germany, he received appointment in 917 to the post of bishop of Bremen-Hamburg. As bishop. he strove to evangelize Denmark and Sweden, enjoying considerable success in his efforts.
