St. Tipasius (Typasius)

I was a martyred veteran Roman soldier in Africa. I had retired in the desert performing works of mercy. I was recalled in the military campaign fighting the Quingentani, Mauretanian area of Sitifis. I refused to sacrifice to the gods, and at Tigava, Africa was beheaded. 11 Jan. 304 A.D. They used pieces of my Roman shield on those tormented by demons possession. 11 Jan.
