St. Thespesius of Cappadocia

A martyr who died in Cappadocia (in modern Turkey) during the reign of Emperor Severus Alexander (r. 222-235). The details of Thespesius' sufferings are no longer extant.

Thespesius was a martyr, who died during the persecutions of Emperor Severus Alexander. His name is Greek for "Wondrous One".
