I was the brother in law of Emperor Numerianus and father of Saint Eusebius and Macarius; prefect of Antioch. In Roman Emperor Diocletian's persecutions. I was exiled to African Pentaplolis. Governor Masura ordered me beheaded. I am mentioned at daily Mass by the Ethiopian Rite. 5 April.
