St. Poemen (Pamin)

I was born in the vicinity of Oshmunein, Kemet. I managed the property of a
wealthy patron. But I decided to become a monk, in the monastery near Ansina. The persecution of Roman Emperor Diocletian saw me suffer torture, and jail.
Constantine's reign freed me. I died peacefully in the monastery. I worked many miracles through the grace of God, martyred with out the effusion of blood in Kemet. 5 Dec. Coptic Calendar.
