St. Pior

I am the hermit confessor and Kemetian anchorite. I was a follower of the St. Anthony of the Desert, living in the desert Nitria and Scete, alternately. I vowed not to see my relatives. I died near the end of the 4th century. 17 June.

It represents a replica of the original from the ancient Byzantine temple, lithographed by Jerusalem artisans on olive wood and embellished with gold leaf.
