St. John Mark

According to the pre1970 Roman Martyrology, he was described as the bishop of Byblos in Phoenicia, modem Lebanon. He was perhaps mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles. Modem scholars are of the view that he should be identified with St. Mark the Evangelist.
