St. Jarlath

Irish abbot bishop. He was born in Gaiway, of the noble Conmaicne family. Jarlath founded a monastery at Tuam and served as first bishop of Tuam, Connaught, Ireland. He also established a monastic school which claimed Sts. Brendan of Clonard and Colman of Cloyne as students.
