St. Felix and Augebert

Two martyred Englishmen who were captured and sold into slavery in France. Ransomed by Pope St. Gregory I the Great, Felix became a priest and Augebert a deacon. While preparing to return to England as mis­sionaries, they were slain by pagans in Champagne, France.
