St. Clement of Okhrida

One of the Seven Apostles of Bulgaria. He became a bishop in the reign of Khan Simeon, the first Slav to become a bishop. He founded a monastery at Okhrida, near Velitsa, Bulgaria, and was so successful in his missionary work that he is one of the Seven Apostles of the region. He died on July 17.
