St. Theophilus

Patriarch. I was born in 305 A.D. I Condemned the theory of Anthropomorphism in a letter, 399 A.D. I was the monastery head-- reportedly the only one--who required the paschal document to be read. 20 July. Paphnutius, the Buffalo, I was an anchorite, and consecrated priest in Lower Thebaid, Kemet.
Cassian came to visit Paphnutius, 395 A.D. I always occupied my cell, unless I attended mass Saturdays and Sundays. Mass was celebrated 5 miles distant.
