Abbot and brother of St. Romanus of Condat. Lupicinus founded the abbeys of St. Claud in the Jura mountains and in the Lauconne districts of France.

Lupicinus of Lyon was the first Archbishop of Lyon (491–494) Bishop of Lyon. His feast day is 3 February.
