St. Felix

Felix, a bishop, was arrested during the persecution of Christians under the western Roman emperor Maximian (286-305). At Spello, Italy (the probable seat of his episcopate), Felix was subjected to a lengthy torture of burning on a hot gridiron. He was afterwards executed by beheading. His relics are presently in Spello.
