St. Benignus

Feastday: June 28
Death: 6th century

Bishop and martyr. He is mentioned in Pope Pelagius II's decretal concerning his resignation from his see. Benignus retired to Utrecht, in the Netherlands. He is listed in the Roman Martyrology, and his relics were found in Utrecht, in 996.
