The Way of the Cross (Via Dolorosa)

Via Dolorosa (lat. Via Dolorosa, literally. 'The Way of Sorrow') is a street in the Old City of Jerusalem, along which, according to Christian tradition, the path of Jesus Christ ran to the place of the crucifixion. On Via Dolorosa, before the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, there are nine of the fourteen stations of the Way of the Cross of Christ. The last five stations are located on the territory of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
