Church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God 'Life-Giving Spring' in the village of Roshchino

The village of Roshchino in the Sosnovsky District of the Chelyabinsk Region was built in the 80s of the last century simultaneously with the construction of a poultry farm in this settlement. The infrastructure in the village for five thousand inhabitants was also created at a decent level - however, there was no temple here for a long time.
The village's Orthodox community began to form in the mid-nineties. Officially, the arrival of the future church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God 'Life-Giving Source' was registered only in April 2007. Over the next four years, a temporary prayer house was erected in Roshchino, which could accommodate fifty believers. In 2013, an abbot was appointed to the parish - from that time on, divine services began to be constantly held here.
However, already in the coming Christmas it became clear: on the days of major church holidays, the temporary church cannot accommodate even half of those who wish to pray. For this reason, in 2015, the construction of a capital stone church began in the village. Part of the funds for its construction are donated by benefactors, including the local poultry farm.
A lot of funds for the construction were raised by ourselves parishioners: they hold charity concerts with the participation of amateur art groups, master classes on the correct choice of honey and other events, during which you can raise funds for the construction and beautification of the church.
Many residents of the village come to work in the church under construction for the glory of God, as volunteer laborers. Caring people from different parts of the Chelyabinsk region and from outside of it transfer donations to the bank account of the parish of the church in honor of the icon of the Virgin Mary 'Life-giving source' in the village of Roshchino.
