On November 21, 2024 the Yaroslavl Theological Seminary received state accreditation of educational activity in the direction 48.03.01 «Theology».
Based on the conclusion of the expert group that conducted the accreditation examination, by the order of the Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science № 2164 of November 21, 2024 Yaroslavl Theological Seminary was recognized as having passed the state accreditation for the level of education — Bachelor's degree in the direction of training 48.03.01 «Theology».

The decision was made on the basis of verification for compliance with the requirements of educational and methodological documentation, testing of seminary students for knowledge and competencies. The verification took place in several stages. The first stage — verification of documentation for compliance with the state educational standard. The second stage — testing the knowledge of the seminary students who had completed the accreditation-diagnostic work. The testing was carried out by a commission of experts from Rosobrnadzor.
Accreditation is issued indefinitely and gives the right to issue diplomas of higher education of the state sample on the accredited bachelor's program.
