On July 19, 2024, the Teaching Committee of the Russian Orthodox Church held an organizational meeting dedicated to the implementation of the «Memory of the Church» project.
The meeting was headed by the Chairman of the Study Committee, Rector of the Church Postgraduate School and Doctoral School named after Saints Cyril and Methodius Propriest Maxim Kozlov. Members of the editorial board of the project took part in the meeting.
The participants of the event analyzed the current state of affairs in the implementation of the project and stated that the work on the set tasks is being carried out in an intensive mode. Thanks to the timely response of the majority of religious schools, a database of materials has been collected and is currently being processed by the editorial board.
After discussing the prospects for further work, the publication of the first part of the materials on the Internet was planned for early September 2024.
