On December 4, 2024, on the feast of the Enthronement of Our Most Holy Lady, the Theotokos, and Our Lady Mary, the 107th anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, Saint Tikhon, Patriarch of All Russia, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Patriarchal Dormition Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin.

Before the service began, the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church was greeted at the entrance to the cathedral by the Secretary of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia for the city of Moscow, dean of the Central District of the Moscow (City) Eparchy Protopresbyter Vladimir Divakov; Archpriest Vyacheslav Shestakov, rector of the churches of the Patriarchal Court in Zaryadye in Moscow, sacristan of the Patriarchal Uspensky Cathedral and churches of the Moscow Kremlin; Archpriest S.N. Udovenko, head of the Moscow Kremlin Commandant Service of the Federal Guard Service of the Russian Federation.

On his way to the cathedral, His Holiness bowed to the relics of St. Philip, Metropolitan of Moscow.

His Holiness was served at the Liturgy by: Metropolitan Gregory of Voskresensk, the Administrator of Affairs Moscow Patriarchate; Metropolitan Nikandr of Naro-Fominsk, chairman of the Financial and Economic Administration of the Moscow Patriarchate; Bishop Siluan of Pavlo-Posad, deputy administrator of the Moscow Patriarchate; Bishop Alexis of Ramenskiy, personal secretary of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill; Protopresbyter Vladimir Divakov; Protopriest Nikolai Lischenyuk, rector of the church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God «Joy of All Who Sorrow» on Bolshaya Ordynka in Moscow, Deputy Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate; Higumen John Ludischev, Vicar of the Sretensky Stavropigial Monastery, acting rector of the Sretensky Theological Academy; hegumen Dionisy (Shlenov), vicar of Andreevsky Stavropigial Monastery; clergy of Moscow.

The liturgical hymns were performed by the Festive Choir of the Danilov Monastery under the direction of Georgy Safonov.

The service was broadcast live on the «Soyuz» and «Spas» TV channels, as well as on the official portal of the Russian Orthodox Church Patriarchy.ru.

Special petitions were offered at the Litany of Supplication. The Primate of the Russian Church read a prayer for Holy Russia.

After the Liturgy, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill celebrated the presbyteral ordination of Hierodeacon Arseny (Pisarev), employee of the Press Service of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, cleric of the Church of the Archangel Gabriel and the Great Martyr Theodore Stratilat of Moscow — sub-ward of the Antiochian Orthodox Church.
