On May 7, 2024, the Tuesday of Holy Week, the Pokrovsky Stavropegial Nunnery in Moscow hosted celebrations on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the canonization of St. Blessed Matrona of Moscow. After arriving at the monastery, the archpastor bowed to the relics of Blessed Matrona resting in the Church of the Intercession, and then led the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Resurrection of the Word.

At the end of the service there was an Easter procession and a prayer service at the relics of Blessed Marona of Moscow. Metropolitan Feognost congratulated Abbess Theophany and the nuns of the monastery on the holiday and addressed the audience with a sermon.
For all pilgrims during the day was organized a free festive meal — lunch and tea with monastery pastries.
