met with Metropolitan Kirill of Stavropol and Nevinomyssk, Chairman of the Synodal Department for Cooperation with the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies, and the personnel of the National Guard troops of the Central District of the Russian Federal Guard. The meeting was organized through the mediation of Sergei Sergeevich Reprintsev, a trustee of the museum. During the event, Metropolitan Kirill addressed the servicemen of the Rosguard, touching upon the most important topics, which included historical and cultural and moral aspects. Special attention was paid to the topic of the Special Military Operation, in which a large number of Rosgvardeans take part. Such meetings at cultural and historical sites are important because enlightening talks for military personnel and strengthening their spiritual state are necessary to fulfill a variety of tasks. The origins of the Rosgvardia date back to Petrine times, when internal guard troops protected the imperial family. Today, among other tasks, members of the Rosgvardiya take part in the protection of public order and ensure security in the country.
