As part of the 1100th anniversary of the accession to the Czech throne of Prince Vyacheslav, revered by the Russian Orthodox Church, the A. Solzhenitsyn House of the Russian Diaspora.Solzhenitsyn together with the initiative group on cultural events dedicated to the memory of St. Ludmila of Bohemia, will hold a round table with international participation "The ideal of princely power in the Slavic countries (Russia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Serbia)", which will be held on November 29 at 15:00.

The roundtable is planned to cover the following issues:

1) the importance of political power in the process of Christianization of Bohemia:

2) St. Wenceslas as the eternal heavenly intercessor of Bohemia;

3) Christianization of Bulgaria: King Boris as missionary and Christianizer;

4) Nemanich dynasty as a confessional-political embodiment of the cult of holy rulers;

5) Foreign Slavs and Ancient Rus: holy rulers of Rus;

6) Bulgaria and Rus: mechanisms of interaction between church and secular power on the example of diplomatic activity of Metropolitan Cyprian of Kiev and Moscow.

The event will be attended by scientists, leading Slavists, historians and culturologists of Russia, guest speakers of the TV channel "365 Days TV", TV channel "Soyuz" radio "Vera": Olga Saprikina, Tatiana Strokovskaya, Milica Nikolic, Alexander Smirnov, Alexander Efremov.
