On November 13, 2024, the press conference on the results of the contest «Enlightenment through the book» was held in Moscow at the Russian Information Agency «Rossiya Segodnya» with the participation of the Chairman of the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church Metropolitan Kliment of Kaluga and Borovsk, president of the Association of Book Distributors, editor-in-chief of the magazine «Book Industry» Svetlana Zorina, winners of the contest «Enlightenment through Book» Victor Kiryushin and Natalia Samoilenko.
Metropolitan Kliment said that the XIX season of the contest «Enlightenment through the book», within which were presented fiction, historical, theological, local history, illustrated and children's editions. As a result of the work of the competition committee 66 winners were determined, on October 31 in the auditorium of the Publishing Council the awarding ceremony took place. The Chairman of the Publishing Council noted that this year there were many books of patriotic orientation, including those devoted to the special military operation. The bishop also spoke about the interaction of the Publishing Council with the writing community, about the book exhibition «Joy Words» in Blagoveshchensk, Magnitogorsk, Berdyansk and other cities, emphasized the importance of popularization of spiritual-educational literature and family reading.

This album visualizes rarities from the RGB's holdings, allows you to see ancient manuscript books, first printed editions, archival materials.
Poet Viktor Kiryushin, winner of the Patriarchal Literature Prize 2024, presented his collection of poems «Native», awarded a diploma of the contest «Enlightenment through the book». He also spoke about his participation in writers' forums and book exhibitions organized by the Publishing Council.

The competition «Enlightenment through the book» is held annually with the blessing of the Publishing Council. His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia by the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church. In 2024, 160 applications were received for the contest. The geography of the contest covered the regions of the Russian Federation, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Estonia, Poland.
