On November 15, 2024, the Minsk Theological Academy hosted the opening of a unique postal exposition «Belarus Orthodox».
The event is timed to the presentation of the postal project dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Belarusian Exarchate. The exposition was created by the publishing center «Marka» of the republican unitary enterprise of postal communication «Belpochta».
The event was attended by Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavl Veniamin, Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus Konstantin Shulgan, Rector of the Minsk Theological Academy Archimandrite Afanasy (Sokolov) and other honored guests.
The exposition includes original projects of Christian themes, issued for more than thirty years of Belarusian philately history. Temples, monasteries, icons, architectural and book monuments, subjects of religious holidays are reflected in stamps, envelopes, post cards, which today are the subject of collecting.
The exhibition will be available for visiting at the Minsk Theological Academy until December 1 at the address: 27 Zybitskaya Street (the hall of the library of the Theological Academy). Then the exposition will be is represented in the dioceses of the Belarusian Orthodox Church.
