On November 3, 2024, on the eve of the feast of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God (in memory of the deliverance of Moscow and Russia from the Poles in 1612), His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia celebrated an all-night vigil at The Epiphany Cathedral in Elokhov in Moscow.
His Holiness was accompanied by Metropolitan Kashirsky Fognosy of Moscow.

The chants of the All-Night Vigil were performed by the choir of the Epiphany Cathedral in Elokhov (regents — A.K. Mayorov and N.I. Mikheeva) and the combined choir of the boys' choir school «Epiphany» and Sunday school at the Epiphany Cathedral in Elokhov under the direction of E.M. Sidorycheva.

The Cathedral of the Epiphany keeps a particularly revered list of the Kazan icon of the Mother of God, created in the XVII century and formerly located in the Kazan Cathedral on Red Square until its closure in 1930. According to tradition, before the polyelaion, during the singing of the troparion, the venerated image was transferred from the throne to the analogue in the center of the church, where the relic was worshipped by numerous believers.
