On July 18, 2024, on the feast of the finding of the relics of the Monk Sergius, Hegumen of Radonezh, Metropolitan Sergius of Singapore and Southeast Asia celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Archbishop's suburb of St. Vladimir's Church in Bekasi (Republic of Indonesia). On the eve of the feast, the Archpastor celebrated the All-Night Vigil.

The rector of the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle in Jakarta, Priest Boris Setiawan, congratulated Metropolitan Sergius on his namesake on behalf of all those present.
