On June 23, 2024, on the feast of the Holy Trinity (Pentecost), the II regional festival of traditional spiritual values «Trinity in Troitsk» took place in Troitsk, Chelyabinsk region.

Metropolitan Alexy addressed the forum participants with a welcoming speech. Vladyka noted that Troitsk has historically been famous for strong family traditions. The family is a small Church, the unity of several people who love each other, bound together by a living faith in God. However, nowadays the institution of the family is in crisis: out of ten marriages registered in Russia, about seven end in divorce… The Christian family must necessarily be based on the ideal of love. And the highest ideal of Christian love is God Himself — the Life-Giving Trinity», — said the bishop.

Lord Alexis emphasized: Our task is to help the younger generation to make the right moral choice, to show children the beauty of family life, of having many children, to give the right examples. And there are many such examples both among modern Orthodox South Uralians and among the saints.
