On September 12, 2024, the day of commemoration of the Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, the opening of the Orthodox book exhibition-forum «Joy of the Word» took place in Berdyansk diocese.
On the day of the opening of the exhibition-forum in the Cathedral in honor of the Nativity of Christ in the city of Berdyansk was celebrated the Divine Liturgy, which was led by the chairman of the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church Metropolitan Kliment of Kaluga and Borovsk and Bishop of Berdyansk and Primorsky Theodore. On the Cathedral Square in front of the Church of the Nativity of Christ, the grand opening of the exhibition-forum «Joy of the Word» took place. Metropolitan Kliment welcomed the gathered residents of the city, introduced the laureates of the Patriarchal Literary Award named after Saints Cyril and Methodius V.N. Nikolaev and V.F. Kiryushin, and wished each guest of the exhibition to find a useful book.
From the administration of the city of Berdyansk at the event was made by A.V. Khoroshun, advisor to the mayor of Berdyansk, who conveyed the greetings of the mayor and noted the importance of the development of book enlightenment in society. Also with welcoming words were made by writers, winners of the Patriarchal Literature Prize V.N. Nikolaev and V.F. Kiryushin.

On the same day at the Azov State Pedagogical University in Berdyansk, within the framework of the exhibition-forum «Joy of the Word» at a meeting with students, a presentation of new books by the Publishing House of the Moscow Patriarchate took place.
