On July 18, 2024, on the feast of the finding of the relics of the Monk Sergius, Hegumen of Radonezh, at the end of the Divine Liturgy on the Cathedral Square of the Holy Trinity Sergius Lavra, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia in the Throne Hall of the Patriarchal Chambers of the Lavra presented church awards to a number of bishops and clerics of the Russian Orthodox Church, as well as to the residents of Holy Trinity Sergius Lavra and laymen who celebrate memorable dates this year.

Also, by decree of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, in view of the courageous performance of pastoral ministry in military conditions, Hieromonk Guriy (Gusev), a resident of the Holy Trinity Sergius Lavra, was awarded the medal of the Order of St. Daniel of Moscow.
