Moscow, November 7, 2024.
On November 7, 2024, at the Patriarchal Residence in the Danilov Monastery in Moscow, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, who is the ruling bishop of the city of Moscow, held a series of meetings with rectors of churches under construction in the capital, according to Patriarchia.ru.
The meeting was attended by: Metropolitan Feognost of Kashira, the administrator of the Southern Vicariate; Metropolitan Arseny of Zvenigorod, the administrator of the North-Eastern Vicariate; Archbishop Thomas of Odintsovo and Krasnogorsk, the administrator of the Western and acting administrator of the South-Western Vicariates; Bishop Mefodiy of Egorievsk; Metropolitan Nikandr of Naro-Fominsk, administrator of the South-Eastern Vicariate; and Metropolitan Nikandr of Naro-Fominsk, administrator of the Northern and North-Western Vicariates.
His Holiness Vladyka received rectors of churches under construction:
- Southern Vicariate: Archpriest Alexander Dobrodeyev, rector of the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God "Troeruchitsa" in Orekhovo-Borisov;
- North-Eastern Vicariate: Priest Mikhail Mishkov, rector of the Church of the Beheading of the Head of the Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John in the settlement of Orekhovo-Borisov;
- North-Eastern Vicariate. North;
- Western Vicariate: Archpriest Alexander Nikolsky, rector of the Church of the Three Saints in Ramenki; Archpriest Alexander Katunin, rector of the church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God "Neopalimaya Kupina" in Ochakove-Matveevsky;
- South-Western Vicariate: Priest Evgeny Markov, rector of the Church of the Holy Martyr Basil, Archpriest of Moscow, in Konkovo; Priest Dimitriy Baburin, rector of the Church of the Royal Passion-Bearers in Yasenevo; Priest Igor Kraev, rector of the Church of the Iverskaya Icon of the Mother of God in Belyaev;
- South-Eastern Vicariate: Priest Vitaly Ulyanov, rector of the Church of the Martyrs Anatoly and Protoleon in Maryina; Archpriest Victor Shkaburin, rector of the Church of St. Andrew the Apostle in Lublin; Archpriest Leonid Nazemnov, rector of the Church of St. Alexander of Svir in Grayvoronovo;
- Northern Vicariate: Archpriest Dimitri Dmitriyev, rector of the Church of the
- North-West Vicariate: Priest Alexander Bezrukov, rector of the church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God "Skoroposlushnitsa" in Zelenograd.
Various issues of temple construction were discussed. The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church praised the work of the fathers of the abbots and noted the importance of the successful implementation of the program of construction of churches in the capital.
