On June 6, 2024, with the blessing of the chairman of the Synodal Department for Cooperation with Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies Metropolitan Kirill of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk, the Rosguard sector of the synodal department together with the aviation special unit of the Rosguard organized an overflight of the capital region with a list of the miracle-working icon of the Mother of God «Znamenie». The list was created during the reign of Emperor Peter the Great, and is now in the collection of the Museum of Emperor Nicholas II in Tokmakov Lane in Moscow.

At the time of the overflight on the Il-76 military transport plane and on the Mi-8 multi-purpose helicopter, Priest Vladimir Nikitenko, priest of the Moscow OMON at the Main Directorate of the Rosgvardiya, read prayers to the Most Holy Mother of God and heavenly patrons of the Russian Land for the protection of the air borders of the Russian state.
Father Vladimir, accompanied by the trustee of the Museum of Emperor Nicholas II, S.S. Reprintsev, together with the command of the air regiment, performed the rite of consecration of the runway, numerous aircraft and ground equipment of the special unit.

This event is a continuation of the spiritual campaign to fly over the territory of Russia with a prayer for the victory of Holy Russia.
