On July 23, 2024, the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate hosted a regular meeting of the Commission on International Cooperation of the Council for Cooperation with Religious Associations under the President of Russia.
Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the External Church Relations Department and head of the Commission on International Cooperation, chaired the meeting, which was attended by: V.P. Nazarenko, Deputy Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the President of the Russian Federation; A.V. Tretyakov, Assistant to the Domestic Policy Department of the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Council (Deputy Chairman of the Commission); a representative of the Russian and New Nakhichevan Eparchy The participants of the meeting discussed topical issues on the agenda, including the protection of traditional values in the global public space.
