On June 17, 2024, under the chairmanship of Archbishop Matthew of Pechersk, a regular meeting of the Commission of the Russian Orthodox Church for the Development of Pilgrimage and the Bringing of Shrines took place in a remote format.
The main issue on the agenda of the meeting was the consideration of documents from pilgrimage services for the inclusion of information about them in the Unified Register of Pilgrimage Services (Centers) of the Russian Orthodox Church.
According to the results of the review of the documents and the vote of the Commission members, four pilgrimage centers were included in the Unified Register:
- The pilgrimage service «Zavet» Borovichi Eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) (No. 97 in the Register).
- Palgrimage Service «Klinsky Pilgrim» Sergiev-Posad Eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) (No. 98 in the Register).
- Palgrimage Service of the Religious Organization of the Dormition Kolotskiy Nunnery Odintsovo Eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) «Kolotskiy Sloboda» (No. 99 in the Register).
- The pilgrimage service of Vysoko-Petrovskoye monastery of Moscow (No. 100 in the Register).
The meeting also considered personnel issues. In particular, a member of the Commission, Abbess Michaela (Solodukhina), abbess of the Pokrovskiy Alexander-Chagrinsky Nunnery of the Kirovsky settlement of the Kinelsky diocese, was included in the group «Development of domestic and outbound pilgrimage» and appointed its head.

At the end, Archbishop Matthew discussed with the members of the Commission the bringing of the Moscow list of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God to the dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church. The bishop expressed his gratitude for the work of the members of the Commission and wished God's help in their further labors for the good of the Church of Christ.
