On the evening of Thursday, October 25 / November 7, 2024, His Beatitude our Father and Patriarch Theophilus of Jerusalem, accompanied by the Holy Sepulchre Fathers, attended a meeting of the heads of the three main pilgrimage communities held at the Custodia Monastery of the Holy Land - Franciscans, to be informed by experts about the repair of ongoing works, viz.i.e. the main foundations, columns, rectification and restoration of the stone, as well as the water supply, drainage and electrical systems in the areas around the Rotunda, the Anointing Stone and the gates of the Most Holy Shrine of the Resurrection.
