From September 9 to 15, 2024 in the city of Luga, Leningrad region, at the base of «Zeleny Bor» youth educational forum «Ladoga» of the North-West Federal District takes place. The participants of the forum are young people from 14 to 35 years old, actively engaged in public and social activities.
For more than 10 years at «Ladoga» one of the educational platforms is dedicated to spiritual and moral values and is held by the Coordination Center Synodal Department of Youth Affairs of the North-West Federal District. On this platform, the heads of youth departments of dioceses located in the territory of the North-West Federal District and activists of Orthodox youth communities annually gather, exchange experience and develop new projects. This year's event, whose activities are aimed at strengthening traditional family values, was called «Lubim».
The deputy chairman of the Synodal Department for Youth Affairs, priest Alexey Solovyev, took part in the educational program of the forum «Ladoga» he conveyed good wishes from the chairman of the department Bishop Seraphim of Istra and visited one of the key events of the site — intellectual cafe. В During the event, participants discussed common problems in the sphere of family relations and offered their own solutions. At each table of the intellectual café a certain topic was discussed: the lack of positive images of the family in the information space, lack of time for spiritual and moral education of children, individualism and consumerism, cohabitation, divorce prevention.
Participants presented their ideas for projects aimed at solving current problems and strengthening traditional family values. Father Alexy gave his expert assessment of the ideas of the participants and inspired them to implement the proposed ideas.

Also within the framework of the forum «Ladoga» there was a meeting with the heads of youth departments of the dioceses of the North-West Federal District, where the current activities in the field of youth ministry were discussed.
