Accompanied by the head of the Patriarchal Council for Culture Metropolitan Tikhon of Simferopol and Crimea the Russian President and His Holiness the Patriarch toured a stand on Orthodox social service.
The Head of State was shown an icon created especially for the exhibition; an image of the Venerable Martyr Grand Duchess Elisaveta Feodorovna, the solemn consecration of which is timed to coincide with the 160th anniversary of her birth. The image is painted in the traditions of academic painting of the XIX — early XX century.
V.V. Putin also familiarized himself with the multimedia exposition «Hurry up to do good» dedicated to the traditions of volunteering and charity in Russia — from early Christianity to the present day. The exhibition tells about those who by their example proved the importance of good deeds and mutual help in the world: the exposition presents many famous and little-known facts from the lives of Russian saints, state and public figures, military and cultural people, according to the website of the President of Russia.

It is held in a unique format, combining the federal educational marathon «Znanie.Pervy» of the Russian Society «Znanie» and multimedia exposition «Hurry up to do good».
The events are held on the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin and with the blessing of the Holy See. Putin and with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.
In 2024, the historical exposition in the Central Exhibition Hall «Manezh» is dedicated to the theme of charity and volunteerism. The exposition «Hurry up to do good» reflects the history of charity, service and volunteerism from early Christianity through the time of Prince Vladimir and ancient Russia, the era of the Time of Troubles and the hardships of world wars to the present day. Through Historical evidence, photographs and personal stories of people, the exhibition tells about those who by their example proved the power and primacy of goodness in the world. The exhibition presents the history of volunteering, illustrating the Gospel parable of the Good Samaritan, which is reflected in the traditions of charity, monastic hospitality, social service and charity, as well as in examples of selflessness and assistance of modern volunteers to the sick, people in need, in correctional institutions.
The visitors of the exposition will see spectacular scenery, multimedia installations, interactive galleries and transforming spaces, immersive elements, such as a reconstruction of a monk's healing cell of the XI century, fragments of the interior of a hospital for the poor of the late XIX century, installations «Letters to the Front» of the times of the First World War and the Great Patriotic War, letters to the soldiers of the SVO. The exhibition presents many well-known and little-known facts from the lives of Russian saints, statesmen, public figures, military and cultural figures, including Prince Vladimir, Saint Luke (Voyno-Yasenetsky), Dasha of Sevastopol, writer A.P. Chekhov, Righteous John of Kronstadt, Grand Duchesses Olga and Tatiana, Dr. Liza, as well as K. Minin, F.P. Gaaz, Baroness A.F. Meyendorff, T.N. Grimblit, E.P. Korkina, R.M. The federal educational marathon «Knowledge.First», the main theme of which — limitless opportunities open to young people in Russia, will also be launched as part of the celebration of the Day of National Unity.
