On the occasion of the Day of National Unity at the Russian House in Belgrade, departmental awards of Rossotrudnichestvo were presented
In honor of Russia's national holiday - People's Unity Day, the Russian House in Belgrade hosted a solemn presentation of departmental awards of the Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo). In gratitude for fruitful cooperation and participation in significant projects of Rossotrudnichestvo and its representative office in Serbia, the Russian House in Belgrade, departmental awards were given to public figures of Serbia, the Republic of Serbian Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, including representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
Bishop Mefodije of Budimljansko-Niksic was awarded the Badge of Honor for strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of Serbia and Russia.
The badge of honor for contribution to the promotion of the Russian language and Russian science and culture was awarded to Marko Gutal, vice-rector for international cooperation at the University of Eastern Sarajevo, and Archpriest Darko Jogo, professor at the Theological Faculty of the University of Eastern Sarajevo.
Vesna Vukovic, a teacher of Russian language at the Gymnasium "Stojan Cerovic" in Niksic, was awarded the Diploma of the Russian House in Belgrade for her active work in promoting Russian language and culture.
Departmental awards of Rossotrudnichestvo were presented by the director of the Russian House in Belgrade Evgeny Baranov.
