On November 12, 2024, the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate hosted a meeting between Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the Russian Orthodox Church, and I.N. Kapyrin, Director of the Department for Relations with Constituent Entities, Parliament and Public Associations of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting was also attended by: from the side of the Department for External Church Relations; — Deputy Chairman of the Department archimandrite archimandrite Filaret (Bulekov) and Archpriest Sergiy Zvonarev, Secretary of the Russian External Church Relations Department; on the side of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs — Head of the Division for Relations with Major Russian Religious Associations of the Department for Relations with Constituent Entities of the Federation, Parliament and Public Associations M. M. Melekh.
