On May 24, 2024, the memory of the saint was solemnly commemorated in the academic chapel of the Center for Orthodox Culture in Warsaw. The holy brothers Cyril and Methodius, teachers of the Slavs.

The celebrations, presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Savva, began the day before with an all-night vigil, during which, in addition to texts dedicated to the holy brothers, poems and songs of the Paschal Triodion were sung.

During the liturgy a fragment of the Gospel of St. Matthew was read, in which Jesus Christ instructs his disciples to be the light of the world and set an example of steadfast behavior. The above words of the Savior were reflected in the lives of the holy brothers, therefore the Church calls them "Equal Apostles" .

The sermon was delivered by Fr. Nikita Kazakevich, vicar of the parish of St. Trinity Church in Hajnówka. The preacher emphasized the importance of the efforts of Sts. St. Cyril and Methodius among the Slavic peoples waiting for the light of the Christian faith. The modern Christian should be grateful to the Providence of God, thanks to which our ancestors received the gift of faith and we can nurture this wealth to this day. Christians should express this gratitude first of all through active and conscious church life, but also through the study of the Church Slavonic language and the education of the younger generation in this of the region.

Pupils of Private Primary School No. 1 took part in the celebration. St. Archbishop Lukasz Voyno-Jasenetsky in Bielsk-Podlaski, led by Fr. Mitrat Jerzy Bogacewicz, parish priest. In conclusion, His Eminence thanked the clergy who serve daily in the Chapel, the leadership and administration of the Orthodox Culture Center, the residents of the Metropolitan Student House, the choir, the guests from Bielsk Podlaski and all those who were present and prayed in the church on this day. Metropolitan Savva wished everyone perseverance in their activities for the good of the Church.
