On August 19, 2024, on the Feast of the Transfiguration of our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus Metropolitan Veniamin of Minsk and Zaslavl celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Lord in the town of Zaslavl, Minsk region.
His Eminence was served by the secretary of Minsk diocese Archpriest Andrei Volkov, dean of the 2nd Minsk district, rector of the Transfiguration Cathedral Archpriest Nikolai Mozgov, clergyman of the parish Priest Vyacheslav Shafarenko.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the choir under the direction of Vitaly Sobolevsky.

Then Metropolitan Veniamin addressed the faithful with a word of edification and blessed the fruits of the new harvest. The bishop also consecrated a memorial plaque on the wall of the cathedral in honor of the 140th anniversary of the birth of the martyr Porfiry Rubanovich, Presbyter Zaslavsky.
In conclusion, Vladyka Veniamin blessed the participants of the 6th International Art Plenary «Zaslavsky salvation» and its initiator, artist Anna Balash.
