Патриарху Порфирию вручен орден преподобного отца Иустина
In the jubilee year of the Monk Father Justin - 130 years since his birth, 45 years since his presentation to the Lord and 10 years since the transfer of his relics - many believers gathered for prayer at the Annunciation under the omophorion of His Holiness Patriarch. Serbian Patriarch Porfiry, who in his youth was also led by roads to the cell sanctuary, where the word of God was preached before the throne of God by our representative, Abba Justin. In the church of St. Sava, the Great Martyr Justin and the Venerable Mary of Egypt, built according to the vow of Fr. Justin, the Annunciation prayer service was crowned by the presentation to His Holiness Patriarch Mr. Ord. Porphyria. - St. Abba Justin is present today through his holy and glorified relics, which we reverently approach for blessing and salvation. We draw near for our godly prayers, which we offer to the Lord, whom he loved with heart and soul and whom he served with all his being and strength. We approach with the God-inspired sermons he delivered to believing people, not only to his contemporaries, but to all the generations that came after him. We also approach with his divinely inspired word, which he left us to enlighten and build us up, and with his confession of the Orthodox faith for which he lived and suffered," said Bishop Walewski, Msgr. Isikhia in honor of Father Justin. Patriarch Porphyrios had great love and respect for him and came to Cheliya many times with reverence for evangelistic meetings and other days. - We are convinced that with his (Fr. Justin's) blessing you received the holy mysteries of monasticism, priesthood, bishopric, and the duty, dignity and obedience of the primatial hierarch in which you are visiting us today. As Serbian Patriarch, today you strive tirelessly and selflessly to lead us in the spirit of St. Sava and St. Justin, as his excellent disciple and successor, into the blessed realm of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit and to make this realm manifest in our lives. You take pastoral care of the Church, leaving no one without your love and care. We pray to Him to strengthen and bless you," said Bishop Hesychieh and presented Patriarch Porfiry with the Order of the Venerable Father Justin as a sign of the resting blessing, loyalty and filial love of the clergy and people of the Diocese of Valjevo, for whom he is spiritually caring. The Order of the Most Reverend Father Justin was established in 2019 with the blessing of the blessed memory of Bishop Milutin of Valjevo. So far, Patriarch Irinej of Serbia, Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and Primorski, Bishop Atanasije of Zahum-Herzegovina, architect Predrag Ristic, Bishop Irinej of Bačka, and Metropolitan Marco of Berlin.
