The meeting also discussed the general situation in the Middle East, where its people are suffering losses from war, displacement and economic blockade. In addition, the meeting addressed the issue of the kidnapped Aleppo Metropolitans Paul Yazigi and Yohann Ibrahim, as well as the situation in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the urgent need to stop the unjust war against the Palestinian people.
