On November 14, 2024 on the platform of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation took place the scientific section of the Seventh Professorial Forum «Methodology of theological research and values of traditional religions of Russia».
Moderated by the Director of the Institute of Theology of St. Petersburg State University, the Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Scientific-Educational Theological Association (NOTA).
The moderators of the event were the director of the Institute of Theology of St. Petersburg State University, chairman of the scientific council of the Scientific and Educational Theological Association (NOTA), chairman of the expert council of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia on theology professor D.V. Shmonin and Executive Director of NOTA, Deputy Vice-Rector for Research of the Saints Cyril and Methodius Church Postgraduate School and Doctoral School, Associate Professor G.I. Teplykh. Kostylev, Counselor of the Department of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation for Domestic Policy, Executive Secretary of the Commission for the Development of Theological, Religious and Spiritual-Moral Education of the Council for Cooperation with Religious Associations under the President of the Russian Federation, made a greeting. The first vice-rector of the Institute of Theology of the Belarusian State University Archpriest Sergiy Movsesyan addressed the participants of the section via video link. He conveyed to the participants of the section the good wishes of the rector of the Institute of Theology of the Belarusian State University, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavl Veniamin and, taking the opportunity, congratulated the moderator of the section, Professor D.V. Shmonin with the title of Honorary Doctor of the BSU Institute of Theology. The participants of the section, in their turn, conveyed their congratulations to the Rector, all students and pupils of the section Institute of Theology of BSU with 20th anniversary from the day of incorporation into the structure of the main university of Belarus.

Summarizing the section, Professor D.V. Shmonin shared his thoughts on the topic under discussion, thanking all the participants, as well as the Russian Professors' Assembly, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and the Scientific and Educational Theological Association for assistance in organizing the section. The moderator invited those who spoke at the section to submit materials in the form of articles for publication in a scientific collection or as part of a collection of articles in the journal «Voprosy Theologii».
