Vologda, September 23, 2024
In Vologda they plan to open a museum of the House of Romanov. It will tell about the period of stay in the city of the four grand dukes.

Pavel Alexandrovich, Dmitry Konstantinovich, Nikolai Mikhailovich, and Georgy Mikhailovich were sent into exile in Vologda and then shot in the Peter and Paul Fortress in St. Petersburg in 1919.
The museum will be created within the framework of the federal historical and cultural tourist project "Imperial Route". Now the program is being implemented in 31 regions of Russia with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
The "Imperial Route" project is being implemented jointly with the Foundation for Assistance to the Revival of Traditions of Mercy and Charity "Elizabeth and St. Sergius Enlightenment Society", established in 2011. The foundation implements programs in the field of education and charity, support for national culture, and the study of historical heritage.
