His Beatitude Patriarch John X presided over a farewell prayer service at the Church of the Holy Cross in Al-Qasa'a, marking the beginning of Lent. Present were their Lordships Bishops Romanus (Al-Hannat), Moussa (Al-Khoury), Ioannis (Batch), Arsenios (Dahdal) and Moses (Al-Hosi) as well as several priests, deacons and a large crowd of the faithful.
