On November 19, 2024, Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan visited the Antiochian Foyer in Moscow, where he met with Metropolitan Niphon of Philippopolis, representative of the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia.
Ladyka Alexander presented Metropolitan Niphon with the Order of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District «Peace and Concord». The abbot of the suburb was honored with this award in attention to the work on the development of relations between the representation of the Antiochian Church and the Church of Kazakhstan and in connection with the 65th anniversary of service in the sacred ministry.
